That’s What She Said Returns to Minneapolis!

I’m super stoked to announce that my variety show, That’s What She Said is kicking off again in Minneapolis.  You all can blame the amazing and talented Lauren Zuniga.  Lauren has a new book that just came out on Write Bloody Press, and she wanted to come perform for us, but her tour limited her available dates.  Problem:  No Show.  Solution:  Create a Show.

I am moving back to Minneapolis on July 1.  I’ve been gone for close to 2 years, and boy, have I missed you…all of you! I have been working on new poems, and can’t wait to share them with the Bryant Lake Bowl audience.

Now, some of you may know, Lauren was recently transformed from poet to celebrity by moveon.org – they grabbed her poem, To the Oklahoma Lawmakers, on you tube and it went viral!  Lauren also placed in the top 5 at this year’s Women of the World Poetry Slam, kicking my butt for sure.  Her poems explore the wild terrain of queer, feminist, collective living in the conservative state of Oklahoma.

So be sure to tell your friends, and reserve your tickets early (you save $3 if you reserve tickets ahead of time!).

Here are the details:
